I have been working in the hotel industry in Canada as a transaction lawyer and advisor for more than thirty years.
I have worked on hundreds of hotel transactions of all different kinds across Canada, working with hundreds of hoteliers and their advisors, and bring decades of learning and experience to your hotel investments and projects.
Hotels are my full time commitment. In any given month I am actively engaged in multiple purchase and sale transactions, financings, development and construction projects, ownership structuring and restructuring, and franchise and management agreement consultations.
I have been engaged by hoteliers with respect to hotel investments in every province in Canada and have a network of local lawyers across Canada that I regularly work with.
Over the course of more than three decades I have established relationships with hoteliers, brokers, lenders, appraisers, lawyers, accountants, and other industry professionals. It is a small industry in Canada. It helps to know others in the industry and to have good working relationships with them as we run into the same influencers and decision-makers time and again.
